Join us for our monthly Geriatrics Lunchtime Learning Series designed to promote interdisciplinary teams and quality care for geriatric patients. Target audience for this activity includes physicians in primary care and all specialties, nurses, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, and all other interested health care professionals.

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN LUNCH TO ENJOY DURING THE PROGRAM Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:
1. Review the current epidemiologic trends related to Hepatitis C in the U.S. and in WV.
2. Understand the mechanism of action for the three classes of direct-acting antivirals (DAAs) available for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C.
3. Know the two pieces of clinical information that is required to recommend appropriate antiviral regimens for chronic Hepatitis C outlined in the IDSA/AASLD chronic hepatitis C management guidelines.
4. Describe the most common drug-drug interactions with the DAAs available for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C.
5. Describe effective harm-reduction messaging aimed at individuals at risk for, or infected with, chronic Hepatitis C.
