How Does OLLI Decide What Classes to Offer?

As you browse your OLLI course catalog, do you wonder how we decide what classes we will offer each term? The decision is largely up to you as members and volunteers.

OLLI classes are taught by volunteers from our membership and the community at large. The OLLI Charleston committee work hard to recruit instructors for us each term and we thank them for that. But we need your help as well.

Have you entertained a thought about sharing your knowledge, hobby, or interest with your fellow OLLI members? Do you know someone who you think might be interested in teaching for OLLI? Information about teaching for OLLI can be found on our website at https://olliatwvu.org/teach-for-olli/. Questions can also be directed to jascenna.haislet@hsc.wvu.edu or 304-293-1793.

We are now accepting proposals for winter term classes in the Kanawha Valley. If you have an expertise, interest, or hobby you'd like to share with your fellow OLLI members, now's your chance!

The winter term runs from January 21 through February 15.

Course proposals are due by 5:000 p.m. on Friday, November 8. For more information about teaching for OLLI and to submit a proposal, visit https://olliatwvu.org/teach-for-olli/ or call 304-293-1793.
