OLLI Special Member and Community Event - Influenza: Past, Present, Future

Join OLLI on Tuesday, October 16, from 10:00 - 11:50 a.m. at the Mountaineer Mall for Influenza: Past, Present, Future.

The presentation by Karen S. Long will examine the structure and function of the influenza virus, 20th century pandemics, last year's U.S. epidemic, and future trends in vaccines and treatment options.

This lecture is free and open to the public. Karen will repeat the lecture on Thursday, October 25, at 1:00 p.m. at the Village at Heritage Point.
