Membership is required to participate in most OLLI activities.

Members enjoy the following benefits:

• Access to a variety of educational and social opportunities to learn and meet new friends

• No extra charge for participation in shared interest groups
• The right to be added to a course waitlist
• A voice in OLLI governance

Membership Year

OLLI's membership year is July 1 to June 30. It is divided into four terms: summer, fall, winter, and spring.

• Summer 2025 term: July 14 - August 23
• Fall 2025 term: September 15 - November 22
• Winter 2026 term: January 19 - March 14
• Spring 2026 term: April 6 - May 30

Cost to Join

OLLI at WVU offers two flexible membership options designed to fit your learning goals:

Standard Annual Membership – $30

• Pay an additional $40 per term for unlimited classes during any term you wish to participate.
• Enjoy membership benefits year-round, even during terms you’re not enrolled in classes.

Annual Plus Membership – $175 (available through mid-August)

• Includes the standard membership and unlimited class enrollment for the entire membership year!

Some classes and activities may require additional fees, which will be clearly noted in the course descriptions.

Financial Assistance Available

OLLI at WVU offers membership and registration scholarships to individuals for whom fees are out of reach. To apply, ask for a confidential application at the OLLI office or fill out the scholarship request form. We want to make lifelong learning available to everyone.
